Motherhood Bliss
My friends have been telling me that I'm enjoying motherhood. Yes, I would say I am, tremendously. Gone were the long 9 months when I experienced freaking morning sickness, water retention, nausea and not forgetting the hefty 13kg weight gained! I have been a mother for twelve YEARS. Twelve amazing years, how time flies fast!!! The eldest is 12, the second is 8 and the youngest is 11months. I've always wonder what is it like to be a mother since teenage years and definitely life has changed for me with motherhood. While enjoying motherhood more than I ever anticipated I've also been busy with work and stuff. At times I wish I had more than 24 hours in a day. Like, 48 hours? I can spend the same number of hours working, say 8 hours, and beauty sleep like another 8 hours, and I'd still have 32 hours to do my own stuff. Ha ha, wouldn't that be superb? Perhaps just 30 hours a day would suffice? All in all, I know it's impossible. I'm just rambling though. ...... But at least I'd have more time to do the things I enjoy and travel around to explore other parts of the world. Twelve years of being a mum has been the hardest thing I've ever done, but it's also the most challenging and rewarding. I'm so thankful for the privilege of being a mom to 3 teletubbies, with a supportive husband to boot! :) As they say, before you have children, you can't imagine life with them but after you have them, you can't imagine life without them!
